Copenhagen Airport adds security measures following regulatory order

Copenhagen Airport announced that it would implement additional security measures following a regulatory order issued on 6 October 2026. The new procedures took effect on 8 October, and passengers reported extended waiting times on 8, 22 and 23 October. Airport officials said that staffing levels had been adequate on most days, but they had underestimated the number of employees required on several occasions, which contributed to the longer queues.
