Compliments brand Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers recalled due to undeclared egg

Leadbetter Foods Inc. has issued a recall of Compliments brand Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers due to the presence of an undeclared egg ingredient. According to the recall notice, consumers are advised not to use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected product.

The Compliments brand products are sold exclusively at Sobeys-owned grocery stores and partner banners across Canada, including Sobeys, FreshCo, Foodland, and Safeway Canada. The recall was announced on August 7, 2026.
