Commissioner Guevarro Honors Slain Officer at Coup Anniversary Ceremony

Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro paid tribute to fallen officer Solomon Mc Leod by laying a wreath at his grave in Indian Walk Cemetery, Princes Town. This solemn ceremony was part of the observances marking the 36th anniversary of the 1990 Attempted Coup in Trinidad and Tobago.

The event, attended by Assistant Commissioner of Police Soodeen, Woman Superintendent Bridglal, and officers from the Southern Division, was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers in the line of duty. The Police Band added a solemn tone to the proceedings, as they played during the ceremony.

Family members of PC Mc Leod, along with community members, gathered to honor his memory. Their presence underscored the deep respect and admiration held for those who have given their lives in service of the nation.
