**Changan Automobile Unveils New Energy Vehicles at 2026 Festival of Motoring**

**KYALAMI, South Africa** – Changan Automobile showcased its latest vehicle lineup at the 2026 WesBank Festival of Motoring, held at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The manufacturer used the event to introduce the DEEPAL S05 Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) and the UNI-S Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) to the South African market.

The unveiling represents a strategic expansion of Changan’s presence within South Africa’s growing new energy vehicle sector. According to the company, the new models feature designs developed in Italy and engineering specifications intended to meet regional market demands.

In addition to the new energy vehicle offerings, Changan utilized the festival to announce the return of its commercial vehicle range to the South African market.

The Festival of Motoring serves as a significant platform for automotive manufacturers to engage with local consumers and industry stakeholders, highlighting the latest advancements in vehicle technology and design.
