Chaguanas Early Morning Assault and Robbery Leaves Three Victims

In a brazen early morning robbery, three individuals were assaulted and robbed in Chaguanas on April 12, 2026. The incident took place around 4:30 a.m. when the victims, a 33-year-old woman and two men aged 28 and 32, had just parked their beige Mazda 323 near Jeewan’s Supermarket and WI Crew Bar. After entering the bar, they returned to find themselves confronted by four unidentified assailants.

The chaos unfolded shortly after they exited the bar, as the female victim was robbed of her vehicle keys and fled east along Eleanor Street in fear. Meanwhile, one of the male victims faced physical assault and lost a Samsung S9 phone, $1,000 in cash, a black G-Shock watch, and a wallet containing essential identification.

The third victim, also targeted, was beaten and had his Samsung A25 phone and $500 in cash stolen. After the robbery, the suspects made their escape on foot, disappearing in an unknown direction.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident, with Police Constable Seenath leading the efforts to bring the culprits to justice. The community is urged to remain vigilant as the search for the suspects continues.
