Black Vulture Rescued in Wallerfield

A black vulture found motionless on the roadside in Wallerfield was saved after being spotted by Zonobia Mohammed. Concerned about the bird’s immobility over two days, she alerted the Hunters Search and Rescue Team. Game Warden Steve Seepersad answered the call, assessing the bird before transporting it to a vet for a full check-up. Although uninjured, the bird’s condition warranted concern. Officials expressed gratitude to Zonobia for her vigilance and to Seepersad for his swift, professional action.
