A 32-year-old Barataria man has been granted $200,000 bail after appearing before the court on multiple sexual offence charges involving a child. Authorities say he faces 15 counts of sexual penetration, 14 counts of sexual touching, as well as charges of common assault and false imprisonment. The matter has been adjourned to May 8 as legal proceedings continue.
