Bahrain and Kuwait Launch First-Ever Strikes on Iranian Military Targets, Report Says

In a major escalation of the regional war, Bahrain and Kuwait have reportedly attacked military targets inside Iran for the first time. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, citing sources familiar with the operation, both Gulf states sent fighter jets to bomb drone depots, missile storage facilities, and other military installations in Iran.

The strikes mark a dangerous new phase in the conflict, which until now had not seen direct military action against Iran by these particular Gulf nations. The move is likely to heighten tensions across the Middle East and could prompt a strong response from Tehran.

The exact timing of the operation and the scale of the attacks have not been fully disclosed. However, the involvement of Bahrain and Kuwait suggests a broadening coalition against Iran, with potential implications for regional security and international diplomacy.
