A yellow precipitation warning has been issued for Western and Central Bulgaria for 1 November, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. The alert covers a large portion of the country, while eastern regions have not been assigned a warning code. In 18 administrative areas, rainfall amounts are expected to reach between 25 and 35 litres per square metre, with some locations projected to receive higher totals, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) reported. The forecasted precipitation could impede road traffic, so motorists are advised to exercise heightened caution and adjust their speed to prevailing conditions.
