Personnel from the Alushta emergency rescue detachment of Krym-Spas provided assistance to two injured hikers in separate incidents within the mountainous regions of Alushta on September 20.
The first incident occurred in the area of Bukovaya Polyana on Mount Chatyr-Dag. Rescuers stabilized the woman’s leg injury with a splint before transporting her by service vehicle to the Angarsky Pass, where she was transferred to medical personnel.
Shortly thereafter, the rescue team responded to a second call at the Dzhurla tourist site on South Demerdzhi mountain. Upon arrival, they located a second hiker suffering from a leg injury. Rescuers performed immobilization of the limb and transported the woman on a stretcher to a vehicle, subsequently delivering her to Alushta for further medical care.
