Authorities in Crimea issued a missile alert on September 20, prompting a temporary suspension of traffic across the Crimean Bridge. The regional office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the alert at 10:32 a.m. Moscow time.
Two minutes prior to the official alert, at 10:30 a.m., officials halted all vehicular traffic on the bridge. During the closure, individuals located on the bridge or within the inspection zones were instructed to remain calm and follow the directions provided by transport security personnel.
The restriction remained in place for approximately 42 minutes. Traffic flow across the bridge was officially resumed at 11:12 a.m.
