Alain says she wants people to think of her with warmth and to remember both her music and personal interactions as coming from a place of love.
Speaking on the No NDA Podcast about legacy, the singer initially said she prefers to think about continuing rather than focusing on the end of her life.
Asked how she would ultimately like to be remembered, Alain said she wants people to smile when they think about her.
She said she hopes people genuinely believe she lived her life fully and approached her interactions with love, even when disagreements occurred.
Alain also said she wants listeners to continue singing her music while experiencing feelings of love, joy and being cared for.
She added that she accepts not everyone will view her the same way and said other people’s negative opinions are ultimately outside her control.
