Aaya B. Speaks Out As Husband Battles Health Woes After Lightning Strike

On July 20th, James Badu’s life took an unexpected turn when he was struck by lightning. The incident has led to severe health challenges, and his family is striving to manage the resulting upheaval. James, who survived the lightning strike, now grapples with a traumatic brain injury and a range of neurological problems, including brain fog, short-term memory loss, and chronic pain.

Aaya B., his wife, has become his primary caregiver, shouldering the responsibility of maintaining their family’s day-to-day life while navigating the complexities of James’s medical needs. “Every single day, I thank God he is still here,” Aaya shared, expressing gratitude amid their turmoil.
