A Ste Madeleine man remains missing after leaving for a job interview and not returning home, police say.
Around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Joshua Mohammed, 23, of Railway Line, Victoria Village, reportedly departed his shared residence in a white Nissan AD wagon with registration PCN7988 to attend a job interview at C3 Mall. His family has been unable to contact him since.
Police say Mohammed’s common-law wife received a message on Sunday night at about 8:20 p.m. that had been sent at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, in which he stated he needed help. Since then, attempts to reach him via his cell phone have gone to voicemail.
An all-points bulletin was issued for the missing vehicle, but searches have so far yielded no results.
Mohammed is described as 179 centimeters tall (about five feet nine inches), of mixed descent, with a medium build, light brown complexion, a moustache, and short curly hair.
Express reporters found Mohammed’s home unresponsive to calls yesterday, and neighbors said they did not know him or the circumstances of his absence.
