On Friday, March 27th, 2026, a well-known social media celebrity from Trinidad and Tobago, Vernessa Valley, also known as ‘Sell of Boss’, was sent to prison. Valley, who is an entrepreneur, is allegedly a member of the notorious MOBS Gang. Her arrest occurred at Piarco International Airport upon her return from Barbados, along with two other members of the MOBS, following significant intelligence received by the police on March 16th.
Police forces are continuing their efforts to dismantle gang activities, conducting extensive investigations into the MOBS and their activities. It is understood that the MOBS Gang is associated with several other gangs in Trinidad and Tobago, adding to the complexity of the situation.
The Minister of Homeland Security has taken a strong stance against the gang, issuing a Preventive Detention Order(PDO) for Valley. This move underscores the seriousness of the allegations and the government’s commitment to curbing gang-related activities.
Adding to the controversy are videos circulating on social media, reportedly showing members of the MOBS brandishing firearms. The unsettling footage reinforces the dangerous and violent reputation the gang has garnered.
