Доживотен затвор за американец, убил партньорката си и 11-месечната им дъщеря в Рим

A 47‑year‑old American, Francis Kaufmann, was sentenced to life imprisonment in Rome for the murders of his Russian partner, Anastasia Trofimova, and their 11‑month‑old daughter, Andromeda, ANSA reported on Tuesday. The sentence was handed down by a first‑instance court, which also imposed a three‑year period of daytime isolation on Kaufmann. The killings took place in June 2025. Prosecutors said Kaufmann first strangled Trofimova and then strangled the child. The bodies were discovered in the Villa Pamfili park in Rome, according to BTA. Kaufmann, who was born in California, had been using the alias Rexal Ford. In Rome he also represented Trofimova under a different identity. He denies the charges, and his lawyer has challenged the evidence as circumstantial, Reuters reported. Nevertheless, the judges found him guilty of both murders.
