Yellow-Level Weather Alert: Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorms Forecasted

Trinidad and Tobago is now under a Yellow-Level Adverse Weather Alert due to unstable atmospheric conditions predicted to cause heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds for the next two days. The alert started on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and is expected to last until Thursday, December 4, 2025. The weather conditions have a high potential of causing heavy showers and thunderstorms. The impacts of this could include gusty winds over 55km/hr, displacement of loose outdoor items, agitation of seas, and potential street flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas. Residents and motorists are advised to secure loose items, remain alert, monitor their surroundings, take necessary precautions, and stay informed of weather updates through official channels.
