Xi urges BRICS peace role in Middle East, courts Modi on India visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on the BRICS bloc to play a more active role in mediating peace in the Middle East. The appeal was made during his address to the summit of member nations.

In addition to his comments on regional stability, President Xi sought to strengthen diplomatic ties with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders held discussions during the summit, marking a continued effort to engage with India on the international stage.
