**Woman in Critical Condition After Two‑Vehicle Collision in County Limerick**
*Bruff, Co. Limerick – Thursday* – Gardaí and emergency services responded to a road‑traffic collision at approximately 2:45 p.m. at Uregare Cross, near Bruff in County Limerick. The incident involved two cars traveling on the R512 road between the towns of Bruff and Kilmallock.
According to a Garda spokesperson, the driver of the first vehicle, a man in his 50s, sustained non‑life‑threatening injuries and was taken to University Hospital Limerick (UHL) for treatment. The driver of the second vehicle, a woman in her 60s, was also transported to UHL, where she remains in critical condition.
The spokesperson added that investigations into the cause of the collision are ongoing. Gardaí are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061 382 940.
