The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has granted a conditional approval for the XF10 home gateway produced by Taiwanese broadband equipment manufacturer Zhonglei Electronics (stock code 5388). The approval is effective until May 8, 2028. The XF10 gateway incorporates a 10‑gigabit EPON optical network unit (ONU) and supports tri‑band 4 × 4 × 4 Wi‑Fi 7. Zhonglei, which supplies fiber‑optic equipment, modems and home gateways to telecom and cable television operators, has previously shipped fiber equipment to North American telecom carriers. The FCC approval allows Zhonglei to export the XF10 to the United States during the validity period, adding another home‑wideband device to its product lineup.
