North Korea has begun sending a growing number of workers to the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in the Yelabuzhsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
The Alabuga Drone Factory, located within the zone, manufactures a range of Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicles, including the Geran 1, Geran 2, Geran 3 and Geran 5 models.
While officials have confirmed the transfer of personnel, there is speculation that the collaboration may extend to future production or technology sharing, though no formal agreements have been announced.
