Weather Alert: Varying Conditions and Flood Alert for Trinidad, Tobago, and Grenada

The official public weather forecast for Monday, July 13th, 2026, anticipates varying conditions across the region. Trinidad, Tobago, and Grenada can expect cloudy and breezy conditions with the possibility of light to moderate showers. There is also a 40% chance of a few heavy showers or even thunderstorms. Despite these conditions, improvement is expected by late afternoon or evening, with tonight likely to be settled despite a few lingering showers.

However, caution is advised as a Localized Flood Alert of Yellow Level is in effect. Gusty winds and street or flash flooding may occur near heavy showers and thunderstorms, posing potential risks.

Contrastingly, the remainder of the Lesser Antilles looks forward to sunny, hazy, and breezy conditions with only brief showers at times. Tonight is expected to be fair but hazy. Regardless of the weather, the forecasted maximum temperature for Piarco and Crown Point is 29°C.

As for the sea conditions, they are moderate with waves reaching 1.5m to 2.0m in open waters, and slightly less but occasionally choppy in sheltered areas. Stay safe and updated with the latest weather reports.
