WAFU-B: Edo Queens thrash AS Garde Nationale 7–0 in champions league qualifiers opener … Coach Boboye salutes team’s courage

Edo Queens FC, the reigning champions of the Nigeria Women Football League, secured a 7-0 victory against AS Garde Nationale of Niger Republic in their opening match of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU-B qualifiers. The tournament is currently being held in Burkina Faso.

The Nigerian side maintained control throughout the match on Monday night, demonstrating an assertive performance against their opponents. Following the conclusion of the game, Edo Queens head coach Boboye commended the team for their courage and performance on the pitch.
