*King of Dancehall* Vybz Kartel announced that he has signed Jamaican singer‑songwriter Shenequa to his label, GreedyLion/Vybz Kartel Muzik. The deal makes Shenequa the first female artist to join the roster.
Kartel said the signing marks a “new chapter” for Shenequa and that the label’s support, visibility and creative energy will help elevate her career. He also hinted that collaborations between the two are in the works.
Shenequa has already released the single “My Show,” accompanied by a new music video that showcases her attitude, personality and sound.
