Police from the Santodorp precinct arrested a female suspect, N.F., on Saturday, 24 October, at her home on Uthopiaweg. The arrest followed a complaint filed by entrepreneur C.S. on Wednesday, 21 October, who alleged that intimate video footage of himself and his 26‑year‑old girlfriend, S.A.M., had been distributed without consent. According to the complaint, C.S. claimed the footage was intended solely for private use within his relationship. He said the video was mistakenly sent to N.F. via Snapchat because her name appeared near his girlfriend’s in his contacts list. The video was subsequently shared widely on social media platforms and WhatsApp, exposing the couple to a flood of negative comments and insults. C.S. later learned that someone had recorded the video with a different phone and further disseminated it. He has requested criminal prosecution for the unauthorized distribution. N.F. is currently in custody. Her mobile phone was seized during the arrest and will be examined by the Digital Research Department as part of the investigation.
