On July 14th, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a market vendor in Longdenville was violently attacked and robbed. The incident occurred on Neilson Street, near the local cemetery, where the 35-year-old victim was accosted by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm. The assailants physically assaulted the victim before stealing several valuable items, including a Nike side bag, two Samsung smartwatches valued at $3,500 TT, a Samsung headset worth $65 TT, a Bluetooth speaker priced at $150 TT, a silver ring valued at $275 TT, and a Samsung tablet with a worth of $700 TT. After the robbery, the suspects fled east along the same street. Following the incident, the victim reported the crime to local authorities, leading to the arrest of a 16-year-old male from Flemming Street, Longdenville. Police continue to investigate the case as they work to apprehend any additional suspects involved in the crime.
