Last night, a collision occurred near Reality Supermarket in Catiri involving a pickup truck and a Suzuki vehicle.
According to police reports, the driver of the Suzuki failed to regulate his speed and did not maintain a safe following distance behind the pickup, which was traveling northbound.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Police conducted a sobriety test on the Suzuki driver, which indicated a level of intoxication that was not sufficient to stop the vehicle but did lead to a driving ban.
The incident was recorded on video and has been released by local authorities. The driver is currently under investigation for the violation.
