Thiago extended Brentford’s lead to 2-0 in the 83rd minute following a counterattack, and Fabio Carvalho finalized the score at 3-0 in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Following this result, Brentford sits in third place in the league standings with nine points, trailing Arsenal and Manchester City by three points, though both clubs have a game in hand. Chelsea currently holds seventh place with seven points.
