A Venezuelan political and communications collective, TatuyTV, has released a fiery statement condemning Israel’s offer of humanitarian aid to Venezuela following a devastating double earthquake on June 24. The group, known for its leftist and anti-imperialist stance, accused Israel of trying to ‘wash its face’ with aid while committing genocide against Palestinians.
The statement, titled ‘A natural disaster will not hide a genocide,’ expressed solidarity with earthquake victims but launched a blistering attack on Israel. ‘Maldito sea el Estado de Israel! Cursed be the State of Israel!’ the collective wrote, calling Israel a ‘racist, supremacist apartheid state’ with no right to exist.
TatuyTV also condemned an alleged US military occupation of Venezuelan territory, accusing Washington of exploiting the disaster for imperialist expansion. ‘The United States is the largest responsible for violence and destruction worldwide,’ the statement read, urging popular movements to mobilize for sovereignty.
