Venezuela Demolishes First Building in Earthquake-Devastated Region
The Venezuelan government has demolished a building in La Guaira, a region in the north of the country that was severely affected by recent earthquakes. The demolition took place on Thursday, according to government reports.
The building was deemed to be at risk structurally by experts following the earthquakes that occurred on June 24. As a result, it was demolished to prevent any potential hazards. This is the first building to be demolished in the region since the earthquakes struck.
