Vijay Nanan, a 59-year-old vendor, tragically succumbed to his injuries three days after being shot during a robbery. The incident took place on Saturday at his tent on Gulf View Link Road. Nanan was reportedly conducting sales when two men approached him, announcing a robbery. In a brave attempt to defend himself, Nanan grabbed a cutlass, leading to a struggle during which he was shot in the abdomen. Despite battling for his life for three days, Nanan sadly passed away due to his injuries.
