**Vantara Announces Formation of Independent Governing Council**
**JAMNAGAR, India** – Vantara announced the formation of a new independent Governing Council on September 4, 2026.
The newly established five-member body is tasked with overseeing the organization’s conservation, rescue, and compliance operations. According to the announcement, the Council will hold final decision-making authority regarding future applications for the importation of wild animals.
Additionally, the Council is responsible for establishing Vantara’s strategic vision for the next five years and beyond.
