English darts player Fallon Sherrock won £501,000 (approximately 82 million Icelandic króna) after defeating world champion Luke Littler during a special event in Manchester on October 30, 2026. The event, titled “Beat Luke Littler,” was organized by Netflix and featured a series of qualifying rounds held across the United Kingdom. Twenty challengers were selected to face the 19-year-old Littler in a single leg of 501. The competition was streamed live on Netflix, and participants were offered the substantial cash prize if they could defeat the reigning world champion. Sherrock, who has competed in various professional darts circuits and frequently appeared at the World Championship, was eligible to participate as she is not a member of the PDC world tour. Fourteen challengers, including a 14-year-old, had attempted to beat Littler during the event before Sherrock took the stage. After winning the bullseye throw to determine the starting order, Sherrock opened her leg with a 180—the highest possible score in three darts. She maintained her lead throughout the leg and secured the victory by hitting a double 20 with her final dart. “This is madness. I cannot put into words what this means, especially with Rory [her son] in the room. This is the first time he has attended a competition and seen me win,” Sherrock said following the match. Littler, who has won the last two world championships, praised his opponent’s performance. “Brilliant. That is what one person had to do: win the bullseye at the start and finish the leg in 15 darts, and that is what she did. It was world-class,” he said.
