In a tragic incident in Valencia, a shooting occurred early Sunday morning, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Kelvin Paul, also known as Balo, from Kp Lands. The wounded individuals include 19-year-old Jeremiah Paul and 18-year-old Kevin Abraham, both of whom were socializing outside a shop when the shooting began.
Responding to reports of gunfire around 12:20 AM, police found multiple spent shell casings at the scene, along with signs of blood. Witness Curtis Dasrath reported hearing several loud explosions before discovering the victims on the ground. The injured were quickly transported to Sangre Grande Hospital, where Kelvin Paul was later pronounced dead. Jeremiah Paul is currently in stable condition, while Kevin Abraham is in critical condition, having sustained severe injuries.
As investigations continue, police have gathered evidence at the crime scene and interviewed witnesses, including another individual who sustained minor injuries. No suspects have been identified at this time, and inquiries are ongoing as authorities seek to uncover more details about the assailants and the motives behind this violent act.
