US Citizen Slain, Three Wounded in Drive-by Shooting

A deadly gun attack in Enterprise, Chaguanas claimed the life of a 38-year-old U.S. citizen, Kawandy Dixon, and left three others wounded on Sunday night. The incident occurred outside a local mini mart where Dixon and three other men were gathered. Police received reports of gunfire around 11:15 p.m. and upon arrival, found the victims wounded on the roadway. All were rushed to the Chaguanas Health Facility where Dixon was pronounced dead shortly after. 53 spent shells were recovered from the crime scene. Investigators believe the assailants, driving a blue Toyota Aqua and a Nissan Tiida, fired on the group before making their escape.
