A St. Lucian national, Keena Emmanuel, vanished under worrying circumstances from Arima Hospital, sparking an urgent search. She was last seen by relatives leaving the hospital around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday. Her sudden disappearance and the vulnerable mental state she was believed to be in at the time have raised alarm among her family members.
Emmanuel’s departure from the hospital was particularly concerning, as she left without any personal belongings. Her phone, footwear, and clothing were left behind, causing difficulties in the ongoing search efforts as family members are unable to confirm what she was wearing at the time.
The family’s distress has been further heightened by unsuccessful attempts to access the hospital’s CCTV footage. Emmanuel is described as having very short hair, cut close to the scalp, and is sometimes seen with her head wrapped in a cloth.
Her loved ones are now appealing to the public for assistance in locating her. They are urging anyone with information about Emmanuel or her whereabouts to come forward and contact the nearest police station.
