Un nou incident în Strâmtoarea Ormuz. Un petrolier a luat foc după ce a lovit o mină marină

HORMOZGAN, IRAN - SEPTEMBER 09: Iran's medium-sized oil tankers continue to wait off the coast of Bandar Abbas at the Strait of Hormuz in Hormozgan Province, Iran on September 09, 2026. The tankers, anchored around 10 miles (16 kilometers) offshore, are reported to be waiting due to the threat of a US attack, and serious deformation, including rust, was observed on the surface of the vessels that have remained stationary for an extended period. Iranian armed forces reported on Thursday that five oil tankers and a tugboat had caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz, a key maritime corridor that has become a focal point of the ongoing dispute between Tehran and Washington. The incident, according to the Iranian statement, occurred in the strategic region of the strait, which handles roughly one‑fifth of the world’s oil traffic. Le Figaro has reported that the vessel involved in the incident is currently immobilised, but no information has been released regarding casualties. Maritime security agencies have not confirmed the fires or the number of vessels affected. Washington has said that it has largely defused the strait, while Iran maintains that it controls the route. Tehran’s claim comes amid heightened tensions that escalated at the end of February following Israeli‑American attacks on the city. Iran also routinely targets ships that enter the area without its permission along the coast of Oman.
