Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha visited Finland on Tuesday, joining Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide for a meeting at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The three ministers held a joint press conference after the meeting, which was broadcast live from 17:00. The visit follows a week‑earlier summit in Oslo where Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre discussed a peace plan for Ukraine. That day, Stubb and Støre also called Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the same issue. During the press conference, Valtonen said that Finland and Norway are close partners and strong supporters of Ukraine. “We are working tirelessly together to achieve a sustainable and just peace for Ukraine,” she said. The live broadcast of the press conference was available on the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ channel.
