On 3 September 2026, UBA Congo announced that it had expanded its Board of Directors to strengthen governance and support sustainable growth.
The board meeting was held at the Hilton Brazzaville – Les Tours Jumelles and was chaired by Hilarion Victor Bounsana, President of the Board.
Six new directors were appointed: Ntoudi Mouyelo Katoula, Patrick Robert Ntsibat, Thierry Guy Arsène Boumba Zaou, Daniel Ifeanyichukwu Okeke, Sandrine Carmelle Babady and Mariam Yago Touré.
These appointments bring a range of expertise in banking, finance, investment, law, audit, risk management, strategy and management to the board.
The board now includes a mix of executive and non‑executive directors, with Thierry Guy Arsène Boumba Zaou serving as the independent non‑executive chair of the audit committee.
UBA Congo said the new composition reinforces its commitment to institutional resilience and long‑term performance.
