The Prince Albert U17 Astros represented Saskatchewan at the national tournament in Surrey, British Columbia. However, their playoff run was cut short after losing 8-0 to the Tara Twins from Ontario in their first playoff game on Saturday morning.
According to head coach Neil Finch, the team made the most of their opportunity to compete on the national stage, despite being eliminated from the tournament. The Astros concluded their tournament on Sunday.
