The Ministry of Health has officially announced an ongoing partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain for the Continuing Promise 2025 Mission. This humanitarian initiative, spearheaded by the United States Navy Ship (USNS) COMFORT, is set to take place in Trinidad and Tobago from August 5 to 11, 2025. During this week, the COMFORT will provide a variety of free medical, dental, veterinary, and biomedical services in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. This mission falls under the U.S. Southern Command’s Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP) and aims to enhance healthcare access for the local communities.
