Two Men Severely Injured in Separate Violent Incidents

On August 17th, 2025, two separate incidents of violence left two men seriously injured. The first incident occurred in Tobago, where a 40-year-old labourer was stabbed multiple times during a dispute at the Castara Fisherman Event. He sustained injuries to his head, face, and shoulder and is currently being treated at Scarborough Hospital. In a separate incident in Penal, a 42-year-old security guard was shot several times in his own home. He managed to escape and seek help, and is now in stable condition in Point Fortin Hospital. Crime Scene Investigators have recovered evidence from the scene and continue to investigate both incidents.
