Two Kiss bakery trucks crash in separate incidents hours apart

Two delivery trucks belonging to Kiss Baking Company were involved in separate road accidents in south and central Trinidad, raising concerns about road safety after both incidents occurred within a short period.
The first crash reportedly occurred along the highway near Claxton Bay, where a Kiss delivery truck veered off the roadway and ended up in the grassy area along the shoulder. Images circulating on social media show the vehicle partially off the road but still upright. It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control, and there were no immediate reports of serious injuries.
In a separate incident, another Kiss truck overturned along Tasker Road. Photos from the scene show the red delivery vehicle lying on its side in a grassy field off the roadway while individuals assessed the situation nearby.
Emergency services were reportedly alerted following the crashes, though details regarding injuries or damage remain limited at this time.
The Kiss Baking Company trucks are commonly seen across Trinidad and Tobago delivering bread and baked goods to supermarkets, parlours, and groceries throughout the country.
Authorities are expected to review the circumstances surrounding both crashes to determine what led to the incidents.
Motorists are being reminded to exercise caution on the nation’s roadways, particularly when driving larger commercial vehicles or travelling during busy delivery periods.
