Two Individuals Lost in Forest After Visiting Plane Crash Site, Search Operation Underway

Two individuals from Arima who ventured to a plane crash site found themselves lost in a forested area around 11:00 a.m. yesterday. The authorities were immediately alerted and search operations were promptly initiated. Efforts to locate the missing individuals continued into the morning. The search team comprises of the Air Support Unit, soldiers, police officers, and the Hunters Search and Rescue Team.

The Air Support Unit, led by Ronny Rampallard, played a pivotal role in the operation. Similarly, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team under the leadership of Commander Shamsudeen Ayube made significant contributions. They were aided by the latest technology in their efforts.

A breakthrough came when the lost individuals were spotted by a drone operated by the Air Support Unit. Currently, the Air Support Unit, along with soldiers, is navigating the rough terrain to reach the individuals. The area is challenging and demands expert navigation skills.

The operation is ongoing and more information will be provided as it becomes available. The incident underscores the risks associated with visiting sites of recent accidents without professional guidance.
