Two employees have been dismissed following unauthorized access and manipulation of the government’s tint waiver application system.
The National Data Management Authority confirmed that the breach was detected during routine audits, triggering an immediate investigation. The matter has since been referred to the police.
Officials described the incident as a serious violation of cybersecurity protocols and emphasized a zero-tolerance approach to misuse of government systems.
Authorities say additional safeguards are now being implemented to strengthen digital security and maintain public trust in government platforms.
