INTERPOL has announced that an international counter-terrorism operation held in Tunis has successfully identified 126 foreign terrorist fighters. The operation, which took place from June 1 to June 5, 2026, utilized artificial intelligence tools to assist in the identification process.
The international criminal police organization confirmed the results in a statement released on Friday. The initiative was part of a coordinated effort to track and identify individuals classified as foreign terrorist fighters.
