TTPS Disrupts ‘Tall Boots Crew’ Linked to Series of Home Invasions

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has made significant headway in cracking down on the activities of a group of individuals, widely known as the ‘Tall Boots Crew’. The group has been implicated in a series of home invasions in various districts including Cunupia, Las Lomas, Chaguanas, Freeport, and Longdenville over the past weeks.

A coordinated multi-agency operation was conducted on May 2, 2026, leading to a decisive disruption of the group’s activities. The operation saw the involvement of multiple agencies such as the Home Invasion Team (HIT), Central Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Central Division Task Force, Guard and Emergency Branch, Canine Unit, and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects, while four others were fatally wounded during separate confrontations with the responding officers. Those deceased have been identified as Mikhail Guiseppe, Davion Guiseppe, Kevin John, and an additional male whose identity is yet to be confirmed.

Preliminary investigations reveal the group’s involvement in approximately 24 reported home invasion incidents within the Central Division and surrounding areas. The investigations are still in progress and remain at a sensitive stage. The TTPS remains committed to identifying, targeting, and dismantling criminal groups that pose threats to the safety and security of local communities.
