TTPS Addresses Video of Police Vehicle Transporting Female in Southern Division

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has responded to public concerns about a video showing marked police vehicle PEJ 379 transporting a female in the Southern Division. Following an investigation led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Wayne Mystar, it was confirmed that the officers involved acted under the permission of the station’s officer in charge. This incident aligns with the TTPS’ Strategic Plan 2025–2027, which emphasizes strengthening community partnerships to enhance public trust and transparency in law enforcement. Commissioner Allister Guevarro expressed satisfaction with the officers’ professional conduct, praising their role as ambassadors for the TTPS and their commitment to community policing. The TTPS continues to prioritize operational excellence while fostering positive interactions with the community to promote safety across Trinidad and Tobago.
