TSMC pritet të raportojë tremujorin e gjashtë radhazi me fitim rekord, i nxitur nga vërshimi i inteligjencës artificiale

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is expected to announce a record profit for its sixth consecutive quarter, driven by the surge in artificial‑intelligence (AI) infrastructure spending. According to Reuters, the company’s net profit is projected to rise 65 % to about US$23.4 billion (approximately 746 billion New Taiwan dollars). If the estimates prove accurate, the figure would represent the company’s 11th straight quarter of profit growth and its highest quarterly profit ever. TSMC’s most recent quarterly report, released last month, showed record revenue for the third quarter, with a 50 % year‑over‑year increase, underscoring the strong demand for advanced chips. The company’s market capitalization is now close to US$2.1 trillion, making it the most valuable firm in Asia and twice the size of Samsung. The chipmaker supplies advanced processors to major customers such as Nvidia and Apple. Demand for its 3‑nanometer (3 nm) chips and its advanced CoWoS packaging technology remains robust. TSMC will hold a conference call with analysts at 06:00 GMT to provide guidance for the fourth quarter and the full year. Morgan Stanley analyst Charlie Chan has indicated that the company may lift its annual revenue growth forecast to the low‑to‑mid 40 % range, citing continued strong demand for 3 nm chips. Expansion plans in the United States are also expected to be discussed. TSMC has announced a US$265 billion investment in a new fabrication facility in Arizona, with an additional US$100 billion to be added in July. Reuters reported that the company is also evaluating a potential investment in Texas. Elon Musk has said that his companies will build and operate a Terafab complex, with TSMC possibly acting as a tenant for part of the facility. TSMC’s shares on the Taipei Stock Exchange have risen 63 % this year.
