In an unusual traffic incident today, a trailer detached from a truck near the Sea Lots flyover. The separated trailer went out of control and crashed into a nearby wall. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in relation to this incident.
The trailer, however, was heavily damaged upon impact. The wall that it crashed into also suffered significant damages. The extent and cost of the damage are still being assessed.
The incident caused a considerable disruption to the traffic around the flyover for several hours. Local authorities swiftly responded, rerouting the traffic and clearing the debris from the incident.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the trailer’s detachment. Early indications suggest a potential mechanical failure, but further investigation is needed. Notably, no other vehicles were involved in this incident.
